6 X 13: IMA’s New Year’s Eve Party: For a sophisticated partier, don your festive cocktail attire and peruse the Indianapolis Museum of Art’s fantastic galleries as you sample drinks from a champagne bar and select Upland Brewery offerings. Live music by The Cultural Cannibals. $125 – $175
Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre NYE: For a mysterious evening, head to Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre and see a special performance of Arsenic & Old Lace. Enjoy dinner from Chef Odell Ward, along with select complimentary beverages. Full bar service and gourmet desserts are also available at your table. $75
Blu & Hideaways New Year’s Eve: With an abundance of chandeliers, stages and neon lights, Blu is the picturesque nightclub scene. The night includes hors d’oeuvres, live music and two different alcohol packages, as well as my favorite part of the night – a balloon drop at midnight! $80 – $100
Blue & White Ball at Cadillac Ranch & Bartinis: Home to the only mechanical bull in the city, Cadillac Ranch is great place to get rowdy. Plus, you’ll be partying for a cause – a portion of ticket sales will be donated to Leukemia Foundation in support of Colts Coach Chuck! $25 – $75
ChaCha presents CIROC the New Year: Every girl dreams of wearing a tight, sequined little black dress at least once for NYE. This is your chance. ChaCha is pairing with Ciroc to throw a pretty wild NYE at the Regions Bank Tower. The night includes a premium open bar, light appetizers & a special performance by Joe Meltdown. $125
Chef Joseph’s at the Connoisseur Room Wine Pairing Dinner and Cabaret: This NYE celebration will make every foodie’s dreams come true. Expertly paired wine and food by Chef Joseph, along with music by Nancy Moore and Sean Baker the Music Maker. Bar opens at 7 pm, dinner at 7:30 pm & cabaret at 9:30 pm. $100
Crackers Comedy Club: Ring in the New Year with laughter by comedian James Johann who has been featured on Comedy Central and The Slackers Tour. $22.50
End of the Line Public House NYE Prime Rib Dinner for Two: Located in the funky Fountain Square, grab your date and head to End of the Line for a delicious dinner. Remember to save a little room – after dinner head to Imbibe for a savory cocktail. $30 per couple. Reservations accepted.
The Jazz Kitchen’s New Year’s Eve Celebration: A principal ingredient to any successful NYE is good music. And, there’s no shortage at The Jazz Kitchen. All-star cast of musicians including: Brenda Williams, Cynthia Layne, Bill Lancton, Rob Dixon, Frank Smith, Kenny Phelps, and Reggie Bishop. Doors open at 7 pm, dinner to follow at 8 pm & music at 9 pm. Champagne toast at midnight. $125
Hard Rock’s NYE Bash: If you’re looking for a concert, look no further. Head to Hard Rock for live music from Brent James & the Contraband, coming straight off their tour with Third Eye Blind. $30 – $95
Masquerade Ball at Union Station: For those in touch with their thespian side, Union Station is throwing your kind of bash. Wear your most dazzling, creative or festive outfit to enter the costume contest ($500 to first place winner). Masks available, as well as face painting, caricature drawings, magic, door prizes (including two 60 inch flat screens) and a balloon drop. $49 – $99
New Year’s Eve at Howl at the Moon!: Sing the night away at the World’s Greatest Rock N’ Roll Dueling Piano Bar! Standing room packages $30 – 35; Seating packages $60 – 90
New Year’s Eve Murder at Indianapolis Propylaeum: Head to this 1890s mansion and experience a mystery dinner at its finest. Enjoy a fabulous dinner at the Propylaeum, but be careful – other things besides champagne corks are popping. The host is dead! $50
Radio Radio’s New Year’s Eve with Toxic Reasons: Get down with the gritty, urban culture in Indy’s Fountain Square neighborhood. Creepin’ Charlet & The Boneyard Orchestra, Ricky Rat Pat and Dan Glenzig will all perform. $10
The Rathskeller’s New Year’s Eve Party: Live music, freshly baked pretzels and a pint of beer – need I say more? Enjoy some local brew and live music from Zanna Doo! Cover includes hors d’oeuvres and a champagne toast at midnight. $50 – $55
Vogue’s New Year’s Ever Extravaganza: If strobe lights and fog machines are your thing, head to the Vogue’s White Party. Break out your favorite white dress (I’m sure it’s been hiding since Labor Day) and get ready to toast to the New Year. Doors open at 9 pm. $25
