What’s a summer without a summer blockbuster? Superheroes . . . sweet romantic comedies . . . action adventure sagas . . . popcorn . . . sweet treats . . . a cold drink . . . and a chance to sit in the cool dark theater on a hot afternoon. If you have anyone under four feet in your household, you know that one of the summer’s biggest flicks is ready to drop this weekend.
That’s right, Lightning McQueen and his best buddy ‘Mater will be rolling into theaters Friday night with the release of Cars 2. Yesterday, I did some “research” to write this post and watched the original flick and it’s a great movie filled with fun characters and best of all catch phrases. I simply can’t wait to see the newest addition of this family film!
The IMAX theater in downtown Indianapolis (located in the Indiana State Museum) is gearing up for all sorts of four wheeled fun this weekend to celebrate the movie’s release. ”The Factory Rebate” not only offers great rock bottom “inventory reduction” prices for seeing Cars 2, but also lots of festivities that will delight both Mom, Dad, and your little motor enthusiast, too. Activities, games, prizes, and general gearhead fun will occur in the lobby before each of the showings June 24th – June 26th at 12:00 PM, 2:25 PM, 4:50 PM, 7:15 PM and 9:40 PM.
